The La Sportiva British Bouldering Championships.
At the beginning of the Technative journey, climbing was our bread and butter and we still love broadcasting it to this day. The British Bouldering Championships run each year in Sheffield City Centre. The cream of British climbing turn up to compete (and spectate) in a carnival atmosphere.
In 2019 we signed a multi-year contract with the BMC/BBC to produce the broadcast for the British Bouldering Championships. Also that year we created a brand new scoring system AND an AI-based intelligence system for increased audience awareness and understanding (featured in Broadcast Sport). The scoring system integrates fully with our livestream and broadcast systems and creates a seamless link between the judges and the commentators. The system has now been used by multiple climbing competitions including the European Lead and Speed Championships held in Edinburgh in Oct 2019.
